9873241241Aaaddit Trust believes that every individual can learn, maybe each one has a different style of learning or learns at a different pace. Anubhav learning centre is a day program in which persons with autism and related conditions unfold their potentials through evidence based and well established methods of teaching, training and therapeutic interventions. The program aims towards developing skills required for leading a happy and productive life. Therefore, special education, language intervention and sensory integration are provided through individualized sessions along with social skills training in group sessions.
Long term rehabilitation includes a very important aspect; leading a life full of dignity and maximum possible independence in adolescence and adulthood. Services for this age group are generally scarce and the person is left with minimal or no choices. Saarthak is a program to address the vocational and employment training . Aaddit ,through this program explores, recognizes and enhances skills related to jobs within Open as Well as Sheltered Employment Models. The honesty, trustworthiness, strengths like remarkable memories, attending to details and adherence to set rules are the real strengths that we use to train our young adults into fine work persons.
Today, inclusion in the diversity of life is the need as well as a right of every individual. For a person with special needs to live in harmony and happiness within the community is a dream that can come true through awareness building and advocacy . We work to create an inclusive society for our specially abled individuals through a range of activities including free camps and trainings, supporting mainstream schools for inclusion, reaching out through media, press and networking with doctors , lawyers, government officials and corporate houses.
Attending local mainstream schools is now the legal right of every child , irrespective of gender, religion, class or ability. Through the Sambhav program Aaddit not only works on readiness of a child to join a school but also caters to the ongoing inclusion . We also support the schools to be ready and equipped to understand the nature of the child’s difficulty and the needs related to accommodations and adaptations in the school environment to facilitate inclusion. The team members of Aaddit have a vast experience in this area and have supported schools all over India as well as other parts of the Asian Continent
Udgam or origin is in tune with the fact that learning begins from home, learning begins the moment the child enters the world. It’s mind is most receptive and can be moulded best from birth to three/four years. This is an Early Intervention Model through which an appropriate intervention can resolve many future difficulties of the child. Parents, especially the primary caregiver ( generally the mother) is empowered to understand and work with the child.
All of us want a breather from the hectic routine of life. When there is a person with special needs in the family , sometimes stress levels and anxiety can be high. Aaddit shall work to create short term respite services , a home away from home for the child and provide “the me time” for the parents.
Aaddit strongly believes in networking with other organizations , parents and professionals. We conduct trainings through Saath Saath to enhance skills of professionals and parents. Our team continuously updates its own information and skills through “in servce” training programs conducted in and outside India
